Patron Capital, the pan-European institutional investor focused on property-backed investments, has been shortlisted at the Professional Pensions UK Pensions Awards 2024 for Real Estate Manager of the Year. Despite a backdrop of the most difficult market environment of the last 10-15 years, Patron has demonstrated its exceptional fundraising ability, closing on €640m for Fund VII, with a final legal close at the end of Q1 2024 and a target of €850m+.
In late 2023, Patron partnered with INBRIGHT to launch its €250m German light industrial programme, allowing Patron to tap into the growing demand for light industrial properties across multiple German cities. The platform focuses on quality and ESG compliant sustainable renovation of existing buildings and acquires assets valued between €5m and €30m. Patron has also partnered with Base to launch a similar strategy in the Netherlands.
The winners of the UK Pensions Awards will be announced at the awards ceremony taking place at The Brewery, London, on 6 June 2024.
